IT WORKS!
Pros: magnetic base, small size, very accurate
The Holux GM-210 works great for the application I am using it for. I have had it for two years, with no problems, Note: It helps to read the instructions. For example, when I first started using it, the LED came on and stayed on, for a while. Then it started blinking. I thought that meant it was broken or malfunctioning. But after reading the instructions, I discovered, wonder of wonders, the the blinking was normal when it was warmed up an functioning corectly,
I use it for input to a program I wrote that records the latitude and longitude, and then converts them inot a form readable by AutoCAD, which then draws a map. The GM-210 is excellent for this purpose. It also works fine for navigating on my sailboat. Very accurate.
