BEST VALUE 2GB WITH ADAPTER
Pros: value, packaging
Cons: none
Superb value, I've ordered many. Slim packaging for cheaper
shipping. To the losers who whine that it should be a 4GB
card - good grief, go and get a 4GB card and stop whining
here. You don't buy a litre of milk and complain it should
have been 2 litres do you? By the way, the 2GB Garmin limit
has been increased with a recent update.

SD CARD
What can I say, it is an SD card, I thought I needed it
when I transfered maps to my Nuvi 550, it will come in
handy to hand off to a friend who has a trip in mind to put
it on the SD card then stick it in my GPS

2 GB MEMORY CARD
You recommend for the GPSMAP 60 CSx a 2 GB memory card from
DaneElec.
Actually Transcend SD Card is much faster in screen setup.
Even while Garmin supports only 2 GB (shame on them!), this
is true only for maps. On a 4 GB one has extra space for
POI's, waypoints etc.

VERY GOOD MEMORY CARD
Pros: no compatibility problems with garmin nuvi
Cons: is size limited
The DaneElec 2Gb micro SD card with adapter, was
immediately recognized by the GPS. It may be
loaded with mp3 music, .jpg images and Custom
Point-of-Interest (POI's) For someone with
limited extra files to load on it, the 2GB card
will likely serve you very well. Personally, I
would prefer a 4Gb card so that there is room
for extra maps also.

WRONG CARD
First the card was on the same page with the
Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx as a accessory, the one I was
sent is too big and wont fit in the Garmin so I
tried it in my Kodak Digital camera, the camera
wont format it so I am left with a 2GB card I
cant use.
GPS City Comment: Paula, please take a look at the SD card. There is a tiny chip inside of the full size SD card, which is about 1/4 the size. This is the microSD memory card you will use. The full size SD adapter is there to connect the SD card to your computer as most computers do not have a microSD slot. Thank you.

DISAPOINTED
I was very disappointed that when I sugested your site to a friend for her to buy a GPS to her husband for X-mas it came without a card and no-one told her. I was going to set up the GPS for him and could not do anything since there was no card in the unit. I'm sure if someone would have talked to her she would have immediatly bought a card from you. know we will have to buy one locally wich will cost double.
