CAMERA THREAD PLATE MINI STAINLESS STEEL U-BOLT MOUNT PRODUCT DETAILS

The RAM-B-149-C1-319 Camera Thread Small Post RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Mini Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Plate with 1/4-20 Thread. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the camera mount to your optimum viewing position.

This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both still and moving cameras.

Camera Mount Cradle Design:

The RAM-B-202A RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Camera Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate with a centered 1/4''-20 thread. The plate adds support to thread, allowing a more stable connection with the camera.

Note: The male 1/4'' long, 1/4''-20 thread in the middle of the 2.5'' diameter plate will connect to the standard female thread found at the bottom of most still and video cameras. An alternative to this camera mounting system is the RAM-B-237 Male 1/4''-20 Threaded Ball.

Camera Mount Arm Design:

The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Camera Mount Base Design:

The RAM-B-231-319 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch. Also included with this base is a RAP-319 u-bolt adapter. The RAM Mount u-bolt adapter narrows the u-bolt to a minimum with of approximately 1/2''. This is a great solution for the narrow handle bars of a scooter or support post of a motorcycle mirror.

To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt, with adapter, around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
