DELORME EARTHMATE PN20 LOCKING SUCTION CUP MOUNT PRODUCT DETAILS

The RAM-B-166-DEL1 DeLorme EarthMate PN-20 Series Windshield Suction RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Locking Suction Cup Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the DeLorme EarthMate PN-20 Series mount to your optimum viewing position.

Note: This mount does not require any drilling for installation.

DeLorme GPS Mount Cradle Design:

The RAM-HOL-DEL1 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the following DeLorme GPS units,

DeLorme Earthmate PN-20
DeLorme Earthmate PN-40

All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.

DeLorme GPS Mount Cradle Plate:

The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. DeLorme GPS Mount Arm Design:

The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. DeLorme GPS Mount Base Design:

The RAM-B-224-1 RAM Mount Plastic Locking 3.25 inch diameter Rubber Suction Cup Base, with Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate, is designed to have an extra strong hold on any smooth non-porous surface. With a twist on the locking knob, the suction cup base adheres to any glass¹ or non-porous plastic surface, as found on our Non Skid Base with Plastic Disk and Plastic Adhesive Disk.

Connected to the top of the Suction Cup is a RAM-B-238 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1 inch diameter Rubber Ball. This plate allows the suction cup to join to an open socket found on the RAM 1 inch diameter socket arms.

Suction Cup Base Mounting Options:

We currently offer three alternative solutions for mounting your suction cup mount in a location other than a windshield:

The Super Grip Non Skid Base with round plastic plate, is a weighted base that can be placed on your dash without an adhesive or drilling. Simply place the base on your dash, or any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the round plastic plate. This is perfect when you want a temporary mounting solution but the windshield mount just isn't the answer.
The Suction Cup Adhesive Disk with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply stick the the plate to any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the plate. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount to your car dash vertically or horizontally, rather than to your windshield.
The Suction Cup Drink Cup Holder with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply place the base into any cup holder in your vehicle and then attach the suction cup to the plate found on top. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount away from the windshield or when you just want the mount off the dash.

Brian The Northwoods July 17, 2009	PN 40 SUCTION MOUNT Cons: plastic clip for over the top of gps is very stiff Holds my PN 40 very securely. Allows room for attachment of power/data transfer cable. Highly adjustable, very good suction to windshield. Plastic clip for over the top of GPS is very stiff but the upside is your unit won't go anywhere. expedtech Tyler, TX May 15, 2009	VERY IMPRESSIVE GPS MOUNT Pros: very strong suction cup, no shaking Cons: none I was skeptical of a suction cup mount for holding my GPS in fairly extreme off road excursions. The RAM mount surpassed all of my expectations. It holds VERY firm when the suction cup is turned on. The arm of the mount is very overbuilt and once locked in, does not shake or move.
