ETREX STAINLESS STEEL U-BOLT MOUNT PRODUCT DETAILS

The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Garmin eTrex Series Mono.

Note: For the eTrex Color Series, you will require the RAM Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount for the Garmin eTrex Color Series (RAM-B-149-GA16)

BASE DESIGN:

The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.

To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

NOTE: This base is completely rust proof.

For Small Rail Mounting:

For a smaller rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Plastic U-Bolt Adapter for circular rails with diameter down to 0.5 inches.

For Larger Rail Mounting:

For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.

ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.

CRADLE DESIGN:

The RAM-HOL-GA5 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin eTrex Series (non-color screen), including the following GPS units,

Garmin eTrex (Yellow)
Garmin eTrex H (Yellow)
Garmin eTrex Camo
Garmin eTrex Summit
Garmin eTrex Venture
Garmin eTrex Legend
Garmin eTrex Vista

All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.

The Garmin eTrex Color Series WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA16 eTrex Color cradle and mounts.
