IWAY 600C SUCTION MOUNT RAM-B-166-LO4U PRODUCT DETAILS

The RAM-B-166-LO4B RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with Locking Suction Base consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle Connector for the Lowrance iWay 500C Series.

Lowrance iWay Mount Cradle Design:

The RAM-HOL-LO4 RAM Mount Aluminum Diamond Plate with Hardware connects directly to the back of the GPS or the diamond shaped recess in the cooling fans on the back of the GPS. To connect the plate you may need to remove the included mount from the back of the GPS, and using the hardware, attach the RAM-HOL-LO4 Diamond Plate to the GPS. Now you have a RAM 1 inch ball to connect directly to the LO4 mount. This mounting plate connects to the back of the following Lowrance GPS units:

Lowrance iWay 500C
Lowrance iWay 600C
Lowrance AirMap 2000 Aviation Series

All cables can stay connected to the unit while connected to the RAM cradle plate.

Lowrance iWay Mount Arm Design:

The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Lowrance iWay Mount Base Design:

The RAM-B-224-1 RAM Mount Plastic Locking 3.25 inch diameter Rubber Suction Cup Base, with Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate, is designed to have an extra strong hold on any smooth non-porous surface. With a twist on the locking knob, the suction cup base adheres to any glass¹ or non-porous plastic surface, as found on our Non Skid Base with Plastic Disk and Plastic Adhesive Disk.

Connected to the top of the Suction Cup is a RAM-B-238 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1 inch diameter Rubber Ball. This plate allows the suction cup to join to an open socket found on the RAM 1 inch diameter socket arms.

Suction Cup Base Mounting Options:

We currently offer three alternative solutions for mounting your suction cup mount in a location other than a windshield:

The Super Grip Non Skid Base with round plastic plate, is a weighted base that can be placed on your dash without an adhesive or drilling. Simply place the base on your dash, or any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the round plastic plate. This is perfect when you want a temporary mounting solution but the windshield mount just isn't the answer.
The Suction Cup Adhesive Disk with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply stick the the plate to any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the plate. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount to your car dash vertically or horizontally, rather than to your windshield.
The Suction Cup Drink Cup Holder with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply place the base into any cup holder in your vehicle and then attach the suction cup to the plate found on top. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount away from the windshield or when you just want the mount off the dash.

Robert Dweed November 23, 2008	SUCTION CUP MOUNT The mount is good and sturdy ,but the suction cup is not big enough for the weight of the i-way 600 It has fallen off the wind shield a couple of time and have put the factory mount back on. The i-way is just to expensive of a pice of equipment to drop. I bought the mount mainly because I was switching it back and forth with my bike mount it dose work good for that if the cup holds. 15 out of 28 viewers found this review helpful.
