ETREX COLOR SERIES STAINLESS STEEL U-BOLT MOUNT PRODUCT DETAILS

The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Garmin eTrex Color Series.

BASE DESIGN:

The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.

To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black plactice covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

NOTE: This base is completly rust proof.

For Small Rail Mounting:

For a smaller rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Plastic U-Bolt Adapter for circular rails with diameter down to 0.5 inches.

For Larger Rail Mounting:

For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.

ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.

CRADLE DESIGN:
The RAM-HOL-GA16 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin eTrex Color Screen Series, including the following GPS units,

Garmin eTrex Summit HC
Garmin eTrex Venture C
Garmin eTrex Venture Cx
Garmin eTrex Venture HC
Garmin eTrex Legend C
Garmin eTrex Legend Cx
Garmin eTrex Legend HCx
Garmin eTrex Vista C
Garmin eTrex Vista Cx
Garmin eTrex Vista HCx

All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.

The Garmin eTrex, eTrex Camo, eTrex Summit, eTrex Venture, eTrex Legend and eTrex Vista WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA5 eTrex (non-color screen) cradle and mounts.

treefrog Fort Drum, NY March 31, 2009	GPS RAM MOUNT Pros: modular setup. Cons: none I picked this RAM Mount up for my motorcycle. I do a lot of geocaching and already had the Vista GPS. I can go where I want, pop the GPS out of the mount and go geocaching or put the unit in my pocket. Fits like a glove. RAM mount is sturdy and stays put. Sled208 Humboldt, IA March 4, 2009	THE ONLY WAY TO MOUNT YOUR GPS TO YOUR SLED!!! Pros: solid mount. quality components I used this to mount my Etrex Vista C to my 2007 Arctic Cat crossfire 1000. This is THE BEST way to mount it! The ram ball mounts hold tight their position but WILL give some if you roll your sled over.
