The Lowrance MapCreate Topo USA Kit contains all you need to download the USA Topo Software to the included 16MB MMC Card.
The 6 CD-ROMs cover mapping for the USA Northwest, Southwest, North Central, South Central, Northeast and Southeast. The software includes land-based topo lines, plus exclusive hunting databases and over 2,000,000 searchable Points-of-Interest.
With the Lowrance MapCreate Software, you can customize your electronic maps to exacting proportions, creating the specific detailed map segments you want.
MapCreate features a unique cookie cutter feature that lets you set the boundaries for the map areas you want to download from CD-ROM to industry-standard, reusable, digital media memory cards (MMC or SD Cards). This capability not only speeds-up the process, but also conserves memory space, since you're only loading the map sections you need.
As a result, you can often download multiple map segments to a single card. Plus, optional cards are available in up to 512MB storage capacities (maximum of 5). MapCreate makes creating your own custom maps easier than you ever thought possible.
VERY IMPORTANT DOWNLOADING INFORMATION:
• When downloading the Mapping data to a MMC or SD data card, the software requires the Lowrance USB Programmer. It will not load the data card with any other card reader. The cheapest way to purchase this CD with the programmer and Data Card is with the Lowrance USA MapCreate Topo Mapping Kit (95-49).
• The map data downloading is limited to a maximum of 5 (five) different data cards.
