Manufacturer Description |
Lowrance's very own antenna with a MCX connection for the iFinder.
This antenna is not an 'active antenna'. This means that the antenna DOES NOT require power from the iFinder unit. It simply is an extension of the internal antenna.
NOTE: The external antenna MUST BE located a few feet away from the unit, ideally positioned outside your vehicle or boat. If the external antenna is too close to the iFinder's internal antenna, the the two antennas has the ability to cancel each others signal.

Wow, the manufacturers could learn a few things from GPS City! Thoroughly enjoyed the extensive video tutorials and comparisons. I really hope I am as happy with this product as I am with the buying experience at GPS City!
