Magellan MapSend Topo Canada is more than just a great topo map, it's a comprehensive outdoor recreation solution for people who love exploring new destinations in the vast, unspoiled outdoors of Canada.
These highly-detailed, topographic maps can be easily downloaded from your PC to your handheld GPS receiver. Map details include streets, lakes, rivers, coastlines, parks, railways and points of interest for all of Canada. You choose the regions and level of detail to download for maximum memory efficiency. The data can then be updated or overwritten with new map regions.

• Extensive, searchable points of interest(POI) for all of Canada - from Prince Edward Island to the Yukon, MapSend Topo Canada contains tens of thousands of POIs in 40 categories including shops and services, food and drink, gas stations, and much more. Many of these POIs include addresses and phone numbers so you can call ahead for information or to make reservations.
• Elevation contours on-the-fly - The "foundation" of MapSend Topo Canada is an invisible, seamless grid of elevation data points covering the whole country. Topo contours are drawn on-the-fly, tailored to the zoom level at which you view the map, so you always see a crisp view of surrounding hills and valleys. Two added benefits: our map re-draws faster as you travel, and you can get -a constant readout of your elevation.
• Elevation profiling - Here's a huge advantage for hiking, hunting, mountain biking and bike touring: all our MapSend Topo products enable- you to profile the elevation change along roads, trails, routes, and tracks on your GPS Receiver. That puts you in charge - you can skip the path that's too steep - or go for it, if that's your style!
• Searchable streets and address search - . Got an address, like a lodge or guide service, but not sure where it is? You can search by street name or address in MapSend Topo Canada. It will show you the street segment and approximate the location of the address. You can view the location on the map, save it as a waypoint, and use it as a destination for point-to-point routing while you travel.
• Create your own waypoints and routes - Easily create and edit routes and waypoints on your PC and download them to your GPS receiver for use on your adventure. Save thousands of routes on your PC to record your every journey.
