Magellan Meridian Platinum is the ultimate GPS receiver for the serious navigator.
The features that set the Meridian Platinum apart from the Meridian Range is a 3-axis electronic compass that provides rock steady readings regardless of how you hold the unit and a built-in barometer which gives you advance notice on the weather.
The GPS unit has a 16 MB, built-in mapping database which includes interstates, highways, major roads, waterways, city locations, airports and more. You can increase your mapping detail by downloading street-level maps on an optional Secure Digital (SD) memory card.
The Meridian Platinum also includes:
• 12 channel GPS receiver gives accuracy within 3 meters or better with WAAS
• Seven (7) customizable graphic navigation displays show a map, compass, speedometer, and text readouts of heading, bearing, speed, direction, ETA, and more.
• 12 built-in coordinate systems and 76 datums including Latitude/Longitude, Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM), and Military Grid Reference System (MGRS).
• The ability to store up to 20 routes, 500 waypoints and 2,000 track-points to easily find your way back again.
• Water resistant, IEC-529, IPX7 (Submersible 1 meter @ 30 minutes) and it floats

Bought my first GPS from you guys many, many years ago. Found this mount on your site several dollars less than the manufacturer, but they wanted $14.95 for the shipping! No Brainer!

Nice price. EXCELLENT shipping cost and policy. I leave MANY sites because a) shipping cost is offensive (Garmin wanted $8 to ship a tiny card!), or b) I can't even find what they charge without entering my address, VISA card number, life history, etc. Thanks. I remember. Frank
