Dear GPS City.ca
I would like to find out how I can use the RAM Mount Big Screen Magnifier
RAM-MAG-1U with my Garmin Nuvi 1490 LMT GPS System. I understand I will
need some sort of a ram mount holder system with a diamond plate. I already have a plastic disk mounted on my dashboard. Please
advise me as to what I need to purchase and how much will it cost + shipping
to Chilliwack, BC. Thanks.

The RAM-HOL-Mag1 is not a recommended accessory for the nuvi 1490. If decide to get one you will need the RAM-B-166-GA35 in order to use it. Or you could get a different kind of mount if you no longer want to use a suction cup. Please see the link below for options.

The dash disk you currently have will not work with the RAM suction cup mount. You will need a larger one like the RAM-350-35B
