Hi

I have just gotten a Garmin 1390T Europe and i want to know if it will work with this product ?
Or if not what magnifier product will ?
And what other garmin nuvi models will work with this product ?

Hello Rasmus,

No this product will not work properly with your nuvi 1390T. We don't recommend a magnifier for this product. You may want to look at the larger nuvi 14XX that will have a 5 inch screen.

ah ok so i could buy this Garmin nüvi 1490 T pro Europa and it would work? Would i be able to use it without anything else ?

I don't need to buy extra cradle for it or is the cradle provided enough?

What about mounting it on my bike, can i mount the 1490T on my bike too?

I only use my gps on my bike NOT in a car.......

Hello Rasmus,

We do not sell the nuvi 1490T with Europe.

What we have available for you with europe included is the nuvi 1370. This is not a GPS for the bike but for the car. What you may be interested in is the proper GPS for use on a bike. The Garmin zumo 660 and zumo 665 will come with the bike mount but you will need to buy Europe separately on memory card or DVD. Zumo units sold in North America come with North American maps preloaded only.

I don't understand, I know i want a 1400 series. You did not answer my question about the 1400 series.

I CAN get the Europe version because i live in Denmark in Europe and not in the US.

So if i buy a garmin 1400 series will it be compatible with your magnifier ?

Furthermore will i be able to use your magnifier with the 1400 series and nothing else ?

I do not have money to buy the zumo either. The car gps are the cheapest from
garmin so i buy those only.

Hello Rasmus,

The magnifier will not be useful for any Garmin nuvi. The 14XX gives you a bigger screen if you can not see the smaller 4.3 inch screens.

do u mean the nuvi 1400 or what 1400 do u mean ?
No i have tried that the garmin nuvi 1400 is
not big enough for my bad poor eye sight ........

Any NUVI 14XX series will have the 5 inch screen. When navigating you will not be looking at the screen but listening for voice prompts. Because you mentioned you have bad eye sight then best to have a unit that you can hear. The zumo series will be one or a GPS with an audio output. Right now Garmin only has the zumo series that has Audio out.

I don't have the budget to buy the zumo. Furthermore i do use the map a lot and I'm not blind. I just have problems seeing only the street names because they are with the smallest fonts, all other text on the garmin i can see fine.

So u say it will work on my 1390T if i buy the ram mount and the magnifier product too?

Yes, the magnifier will work with any of the other nuvi's, as long as the correct RAM mounting system is also purchased. The Magnifier does not work with the Garmin supplied mount.
