Would you say that this flush plate would allow me to mount directly to the back of a piece of electronics, but still have it work with the female part of the RAP-326 pair? I am envisioning being able to superglue (or otherwise adhere) this plate to a flat piece of plastic and then still be able to use the quick disconnect with it's female pair. Do you believe this is doable?

The other side is not a flat piece of plastic. However you can put two male plates together to do what you envision. Here is a picture of the male plate (link), specifically the other side if it so you can see if it will work for you or not.
