Connection wire under screw-on antenna cap is disconnected. Does it just stick back in center hole (so cap screws back on) or is it broken? You sell bail mount with internal antenna for 180 series. When installing that, how does antenna connect to GPS inside unit? Plug, solder or what? Is this a DIY project? Thanks for your input. --Phil

The bail mount antenna would connect to the BNC antenna port on the back of the unit. You will not have to take anything apart. It is plug and play
