Hello Florencio,

This product has been discontinued for a long time. I just read the manual and it is a DGPS beacon for use around the USA. What GPS are you using it with. All newer GPS units will not need this DGPS beacon because the accuracy has improved alot since 2000. Also most GPS devices have WAAS which is a DGPS system.

What GPS are you using this beacon with? Do you know if you have a DGPS broadcast in your area. They broadcast at 283.5 to 325 khz. They need to broadcast RTCM-SC-104 signals.

You should not need a coupler for the proper antenna. Also I could not locate the coupler you are referring too. This is a very old product at it may be worth your while to contact Garmin for assistance. 1-800-800-1020

Cheers

Hi,
Thank you for your quick response. When I bought the GBR21 receptor I think that it had an internal antenna (but it look tha not) and I can't take the DGPS signal with the receptor only. We have DGPS broadcast here and I'm using a Garmin GPSX12.
We haven't waas correction here. Maybe I need the Garmin GBR 21 Differential Whip Antenna (Part No: 010-10167-00) only for the receptor take the signal properly?
Than you,
Florencio
