On the Overview page there is a Table that lets you know which units have Canada and the USA and which ones just have the USA. Its about half way down the page

From what I have read NONE of them work in Alaska. Is that correct? I find it hard to believe they would leave Alaska out on ALL models.

I checked a nuvi 50 NA and it does have Alaska. The documentation available does not state that hence no mention. Waiting for a reply back from Garmin to see if all North American ones will have Alaska.

Just got off the phone with Garmin. If the model (nuvi 30, 40, or 50) has Canada in it, it will have Alaska. If it is a USA only model then it will not have Alaska.
