How is the Battery life/recharger?

Specs say battery life is 2 hrs....my trips are longer than that. I'd like to assume that it can be run off the battery charger, although some Garmin battery chargers do not supply enough current to run the unit. Is 2 hrs the useful limit, or does the battery charger let you run it "forever?"

When using this unit you will have it plugged into the vehicles power port. All Garmin chargers provide enough power to run the unit and charge the battery. You only use it on battery when walking around a city or planning in your home. Have fun!
