My 760's maps are out of date and I am looking to upgrade to a new unit. I use it primarily for business travel in rental vehicles. I currently have around 150 Favorites saved in my Garmin 760. These are business locations I travel to around the country. I need to be sure I can synchronize/upload/download/whatever you call it, all these Favorite locations to a new Garmin. I am looking at a 3790LMT or a 2360LMT, (or a 3490lmt if I can wait for its release). Will I be able to input these Favorites into any or all of these models? I read here that the 3790 does not accept pre-planning. Not sure what that means, please define. Thanks for the help!

You can transfer the favorites using a few programs. Garmin offers Basecamp which is free. Just download the points from the old GPS to Basecamp. then upload the downloaded points to your new unit.
