Why does this and many of the new models not have the Garmin Lock feature? I am replacing a stolen one, and not having the option is disconcerting...

I think the feature caused more grief with some people than Good. Example Their child enters in a lock code and forgets it making the unit useless.
It is a feature I think would be good to keep. The best way to get it back into the new units is to pass your feedback onto Garmin. No Guarantees. Please use the link below to Give Garmin ideas for current and future products.
