Power consumption more than auto cigarette lighter provides?

I have read that the Nuvi1350 would not charge adequately when plugged into auto lighter outlets. Is that problem also in the Nuvi 1450LTM ? I never heard of anything like this before so am very concerned.

The nuvi 1350 charges fine using a cigarette lighter plug. You may have an issue with your car cigarette lighter or the Garmin nuvi itself. The nuvi 1450LMT would work fine if you car port is good. You may want to try your nuvi 1350 in a different vehicle to figure out if it the GPS or the vehicle that is the issue.
