Where can I get updated software for my Garmin? I bought the unit in April 2005 and updated it once. Bought a CD that cost me $75.00 at the time/

Hello Gary,

Garmin has stopped updating the older mapping. We will look to see if we can get another copy for you. One note is the mapping is behind a couple years so you will not get the latest map. The current version is 2009 for non-NT mapping. The PN is 010-10391-08. Please feel free to call us also. 1-866-GPS-CITY

Cheers

I have a 2620 running the v6 maps. A year or so ago I ordered the 2009 non NT disk from Garmin. The sales person said to pay for the unlock code when I went to install the updates... when the disk arrived, I couldn't find the power cable, so why update? Well the kids found the cable a week ago, and now when I called Garmin, they've discontinued selling the codes (taking up too much warehouse space?)

The sales person said there may be some vendors with viable unlock codes for sale. Any chance that y'all may have one?

Thanks, greg

Hello Greg,

Unlock codes for that unit have not been sold for a few years now and were only available through Garmin. I find it odd they told you to look around at retailers for the codes. Sorry but we do not have access to them.

Cheers
Jordan
