somehow my garmin was on Spanish the first time I tried to use it and I cannot figure out how to change it to English. I am somewhat challenged technologically. Thanks for any help. nj

Below I have listed the owners manual to the Nuvi 255 series. Please refer to page 35 of the manual to set the language.

Hello NJ,
To change your units language you will need to go into the setup Screens. You may want to download the manual as a reference.

1. Click on the wrench in the bottom Corner.
2. Then click on the wrench Again in the top left corner.
3. On the following screen look for a pair of lips. That is where you can find the language settings.
