1)how many waypoints can be stored on the nuvi 1450? Where is the best place to store them? in the Favorites or POI or Recently Found or?? I can't find any info in the Manual about the waypoints or renaming them. Thanks for help if anyone has some. J

Hello Jerry,

You can store upto 1000 favorites in the unit. There is a way to load more than 1000. To do so you woill need Garmin POILoader. You can then load your own points as extra points of interest. POI's don't have a limitation like the Favorites (waypoints).

You can rename the ones in the Favorites Menu. Recently Found and POI's are not editable on the unit.

To edit just select the point from the menu then select the edit button at the bottom (or side) of the page.
