Transfer possible of routes, tracks and waypoints from/to Pc or Mac?

Can I transfer waypoints, routes and tracks from my PC/Mac to and from this Garmin unit? Basecamp is already installed. Are there other automotive use units that allow such transfers?

The Garmin nuvi 3590 should be able to support routes and points like the predecessor 3490 but we will not be able to verify until the unit starts to ship. You can only backup your track info

The nuvi 3490 will takes routes from a computer. The zumo series will also do the same.

What is your use? because the Montana series may be a better option for you will be able to load more point, route, and track data

Thank you for your quick reply. I have the GPSmap 62c, which works for sending/receiving waypoints, routes and track, and I use it for hiking. For automotive use, however, I need a larger screen- 5 in. would be good. Would the Garmin nuvi 2555 LMT or 2595 LMT accept routes and waypoints from a PC/Mac?

Yes, the Nuvi 2555LMT and 2595LMT will accept routes and waypoints using BaseCamp from a PC/Mac.
