Did you do a map update? If yes try doing it again.
Did you modify the files in the Unit? If yes try undoing any changes you made.

You may want to check the map settings in the unit to make sure the map is turned on. Tools -> Settings -> Map

The same thing happened to me after I ran a map update on my mac. It says "No Map Data Available." When I went to settings>map>info there were no maps listed, though on my computer it said that the update was complete. I tried updating the device again, to no avail. It's very frustrating. Can anybody help?

You may need to call Garmin for this particular issue, they will probably have to send you some files to make your unit useable again, or you may even have to send it to them for repair. Please call Garmin at 1-800-800-1020.
