Just wondering if, as of January 29th, Garmin has provided a better, more firm date to start shipping the 3590LMT? Thank you. Greg

On new products the date is estimated. Garmin has not provided an updated date as of today

I cannot ! But no other choices. I really want this model. I hope its worth all the hype and expense ! I've only owned one other Garmin in the past and I took it back after a few days. I'm betting on this one !

Let us know when you receive them and your first impression!!! Were they ordered directly from Garmin?

I'm sitting here looking out the window waiting on the UPS guy with my GPS. Give me a good 24 hours or so and I will post my thoughts here...for what they are worth ?? I ordered mine directly from Garmin.

I'm about to cancel my order with Amazon (no tax and free two day shipping to CA) because they can't provide a ship date, and just order from GPS City!!!

i ordered from gps city friday and it is showing back ordered today. i called garmin and the lady said two or three weeks (according to her computer) as they might be doing pre orders first, at this point it is really hit and miss. i go on a 5 week trip the end of the month (10 days), if i miss the 3590 i will use my 3790 and wait til the prices drop on the 3590 (usually 4-6 months). No one seems to really know when or why a ship date is so hard to get. I envy gregg and rob for getting theirs today.

Just arrived 10 minutes ago and it needs to be connected to the computer to download a down loader. Not turned on yet. My luck is consistent..everything I buy the first time is busted. But here goes...
Don..I agree with you. Why is it so hard to get a firm ship date.
Also, Garmin does not have the manual for this model posted yet?? I don't know why.

Took a while to download, but there was a new map. Working just fine now with Garmin's website. Good looking screen. Entire front of unit is flat, so installing a screen protector is a breeze. Still connected to Garmin...getting ready to give it the test. The USB cord they provided is rather short. Luckily I have a USB connection on my monitor.

You should probably be prepared to connect your new Garmin to your computer, register it at the Garmin site, and then download the latest map update as there is a new one. Still no on-line manual. I don't understand how a company as large as Garmin could not post the online user manual BEFORE the product shipped??
