I just bought the 3590LMT which replaced an out dated MAGELLAN RoadMate 6000T...the Magellan would speak where to turn then approximatly 500ft or so would make a sound (Ding, Chime ETC.) so you know that is the exact turn...I read the following post @ www.gpscity.com/garmin-nuvi-3590lmt-questions.html?topic=15229...the question I have...Is there a way to have this work turn for turn without creating a custom POI or should I say just using my regular map...not really sure about custom POI, how they work or what they are for

Sorry but the Garmin will not make a chime before the turn. It will just tell you to turn in X meters on X street.
