which are last gen and which has a auto connected power plug, most talk about the rechargeable battery but no mention of car connection....
is this as it is assumed and they all have it, never bought one, son gave us an old one
which worked find for our needs. someone stole it! thanks

s this a last generation GPS with map updates & an auto connecting power source?
if not which is, we don't even really need the map updates, we are old, don't get that far but getting around here & some trips they are helpful.
my son gave me last one, which has gone missing, got assist re what to look for but they don't mention the auto connection [power issue_ except in the battery mentions]....thanks for your time and recommendations, do not want to spend over $70-80.

Garmin has only made the one generation of the Nuvi 1390T.
All Garmin Nuvis will all automatically turn on when connected to a power source.
The particular modes does not come with the lifetime map updates.
It would be difficult to find a new GPS for under $80.
