Planning on buying it- heard there where some problems - it was trying to

download new maps. Is Canada maps already on it? I like the newest technolgy\

is there something newer i could buy - i want the lane assist for sure

was also looking at the 765t - should i buy this, Any help will help -just

want to be happy and never call GARMIN ABOUT Proplems

There were some problems with the whole Nuvi 7X5T series, but these have been fixed with the latest firmware update. Canadian maps are already preloaded, however if the maps loaded on the unit are 2009 version at the time of purchase, you are entitled to a free map update from Garmin. During the registration process a pop-up window will notify you that there is a newer version of map available, with your permission the maps will begin downloading.
