Can I still purchase updated map for the c530? Do I hook the device up to my computer in order to get updated map? What website do I go connect to in order to get updates if available?

Yes you can buy an update for this unit however I would not recommend it because of the age of the unit. For a few more bucks you can get a new GPS with lifetime maps included. The nuvi 2360LMt would be a decent model to start looking at.
