Can a 2460LMT bought in the USA be updated to Australian maps?

I would like to buy a garmin 2460LMT on ebay fron the USA for use here in Australia, will I be able to update in Australian maps without problem

If you purchase the Australian City Navigator maps on DVD http://www.gpscity.com/garmin-australia-and-new-zealand-city-navigator-nt-2012.html to add to the Nuvi 2460LMT, then yes you will be able to update the maps in the future www.garmin.com/us/maps/us/numaps_lifetime. Preloaded microSD/SD cards cannot be updated.

The Lifetime Map update will only be good for the map that came with the unit. In this case it would only be lifetime map updates for North America.
It will be necessary to purchase the Austraila map on DVD and purchase the lifetime update also.
