Hi I would like to know if the 2555lmt gives distance to next turn? Example would be say you just turned onto new road and your next turn is 50 miles away. Does the map show this and if so does the milage indicator decrease as you get nearer your next turn. Also what is average distance garmin will be telling you about next turn. Thank you in advance for your help. Ron

Yes that is a normal feature in most vehicle navigators. The unit will show you a turn arrow in the top left corner with the distance counting down until you need to turn. The unit will also verbally tell you when the turn will come up. The distance the unit tells you when the turn varies. I do not have an average.
