Does this refurbished Nuvi 770 have the latest up to date maps already installed, if not, how old are the maps and can they be upgraded for free from Garmin when I register unit? Thank you

The refurbished Garmin Nuvi 770's are preloaded with City Navigator North America NT 2009. The free update offered by Garmin during the registration process, will only allow the user to update the maps for either North America OR Europe. It is a single update, so the user will have to choose which map to update.

Hello Porter,
When you register the Garmin Nuvi 765T you purchased at GPS City, a Download link should appear in your account for the new map update. Below you will find the link to register your GPS unit.

The download link will only be available for 60 days and if your unit qualifies. Have a great day and have fun with your new unit.
