How to delete voices to free up memory?

I have not been able to figure out how to delete all of the extra voices from my NUVI 1490T. Can you help?

It is recommended not to delete files from the unit. If you are trying to free up room for mapping that will not work because even with all voices deleted the maps will not fit. You must use a micro SD card for mapping updates.

To delete the voices you need to mount the GPS. Go into the drive. then into the Garmin folder and look for the voice folder. You can delete them from there but be very careful not to delete important files.
