Can I download tracks from my gps to my computer, and if so how would I do that?

All you need to do is download the free program Garmin Basecamp. When you start basecamp and have your unit plugged in you will see tracks on the unit along the left hand side. Just highlight your GPS on the left. Drag and the tracks you want to save into a Smart folder. Or you can use the receive button at the top of the screen and the software will fetch the tracks for you and put them in a general folder located along the left hand side of the program.
