I have owned this GPS for just a few months. It is frozen on the Garmin screen. I have tried a soft reset as well as the hard reset a number of times - nothing. I have also tried to connect via my PC but it doesn't even recognize that the hardware is even connected. I have also tried webupdater. Any suggestion? Very much appreciate any comments. Thxs!

If the unit freezes hold the power button in for about one minute. That should reboot it

Hi Jordan: I have tried the soft reset (holding down the power button for 1-2 mins) as well as the hard reset (touching the right lower corner while turning the GPS on) both a number of times. I also drained the battery as someone had indicated that it would also reset the unit. Nothing works.

You may want to take the next step and have the unit repaired/replaced by the repair facility. If you purchased an extended warranty for the device then you just need to contact the company you purchased it from. Also try giving Garmin a phone call for they will be able to offer suggestions to get it going. We do not get all that info. 1-800-800-1020

Hi all,
Yes, I am having the same problem as well. Have you guys found a solution? I did not purchase a warranty & am afraid it will cost too much to get it repaired.

If your unit is under one year old then you still will have a warranty.
