i tried to update my nuvi 1450 lmt using the garmin updater but had to leave it on all night as it said downloading time left 8,10 then 24 hrs left. so in the morning it still said that it was downloading.so i tried to click on the cancel button and the whole thing froze. my mouse was gone too so i had to hit the reset button on my computer in order to shut down and restart. i disconnected my garmin and when i turned it back on the time was all wrong.now when i checked the map i did have the update but now my time is all wrong. could the strange update (although the map updates do take a long time this never happened before)have caused my time to get screwed up?. thanks for ur consideration. peace, james glynn

The update most likely reset the unit. The time will sync with the satellites. I suggest taking the unit outside where it can track satellites for a few minutes. Also check that the time zone is set to automatic or your zone.
