No Canadian maps?

› Garmin Nuvi 40LM with US and Canada Mapping

I purchased a garmin 40LM here in Canada and I loaded map updates and now I don't have any Canadian data. I can't type any Canadian addresses and it doesn't show the roads I'm travelling on. I used to have Canadian data! What happened and how do I fix it?

You will need to reload the update. you may of selected the USA only. You also may need a 4GB microSD card in order to hold all of Canada and the USA. When you run the update again be sure to select the whole map and select to save it to you computer also. When you install the map to your Computer too you can use Garmin MapInstall to load the maps on the microSD card if the updater fails. If you continue to have problems with the update please feel free to call the Garmin support line at 1-800-800-1020
