What is the internal memory of the 3580LMT?

Sorry we do not have access to the nuvi 3580LMT therefore can not check the internal memory for you.

We suggest getting the nuvi 3590LMT which is a step above the nuvi 3580 and you will be able to get better support on that unit.

The nuvi 3590LMT has 7.86 GB of memory. 5.3GB is used by maps and other info

I bought the 3580- it has 4 Gigs of internal memory and thus needs at least a 4 Gig Micro SD card to load North America maps.

Also, the Lifetime Map Updater does not work hardly at all. Garmin has just released a completely new map updater that works much better. Google "Garmin Express" to find it.

Ok, so the nuvi 3580, by what you mentioned, has less memory than the nuvi 3590. Thank you for the information. Sounds like the nuvi 3590 is the better way to go.
