Can this be charged with an older adapter?

I have a ac garmin adaptor from a Nuvi 680na which will plug into the mounting bracket of the Nuvi 3580lmt. My question is if i put the 3580lmt onto the bracket can i charge up the 3580lmt with the nuvi 680na adaptor plugged in this bracket from the 110 outlet in the house? Thanks Ken.

The nuvi 3590LMT should charge fine using the AC adapter for the nuvi 680. You may not be able to use it while it is charging in the house.

To be 100% sure I will need to know the PN of the AC adapter you are using.

That part number is no longer available. The current AC adapter I have (010-10723-00) tests fine with the nuvi 3590LMT. The one you mentioned should work the same on the nuvi 3590LMT. I suggest buying the nuvi 3590LMT over the nuvi 3580LMT.

I have the car adapter for a 1350 Nuvi. can I use it to power my nuvi 3590 on my motorcycle? Thx.
