I was putting in addresses for an upcoming trip and the screen is frozen. The display reads, "Charging the battery. Press the power key to turn on". I've pressed the key, held it down, did everything except stand on it and the screen won't do anything. HELP!!!!!

Did you hold the power button in for at least one minute?

Have you tried plugging it into your computer to see if that will force it into computer mode so it will reboot for you? If you plug it into your computer and it revives be sure to do a Firmware update at that time. That will most likely fix the problem you saw.

You may need to let the battery drain dead. In the mean time if nothing works it is best to give Garmin a quick call to see if they can identify the problem you are having and provide a solution. 1-800-800-1020
