Route preparation software for PC?

I own two Garmin units, a BMW Motorrad Navigator III and a Nuvi 760. Is there a product or method that would allow me to setup routes on a PC and transfer them to my units? It would be much easier to use a large screen and mouse rather than reading a paper map and entering intersections as waypoints into the unit directly. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Dan,

You can purchase Garmin City Navigator Street Maps to plan you routes. You would save the routes as a GPX file then import them into your GPS unit via memory card.
