Is there a way to hardwire the 3590LM in a car and maintain the traffic feature?

Because the traffic is part of the cable it is best to use the factory cable to power it. You can place a female cigarette lighter adapter under the dash. Like this one

I the plug on mine was crushed, is there a replacement cable (with the traffic)?

Can the unit charge with any other cable until my GTM 60 shows up? I have other Garmin mini USB cables.

Some will charge it others may put it in the computer mode. If you have the cable it wont hurt to try it. If it doesn't work I recommend the same cable that comes with the unit the GTM-60
