Garmin 1300 speech in pedestrian mode?

Hi All

Can anyone help me I have recently bought a garmin 1300 series and would like to use it for both walking and driving, I visited another city and put it on pedestrian mode but it would not speak directions unlike the automobile mode, is there anyway of getting it to speak in pedestrian mode or buying and addon.

Please Help

Unfortunately it is not possible for the 1300 series to speak while in pedestrian mode. The Nuvi 200 and Nuvi 700 series will do it, but the 1300 will not. Garmin could add voice to pedestrian mode in a future update, but we do not know if they will or when.
