My Garmin 40LM is not speaking the street names. Did I turn something off during setup? If so, I can't find anything to make it speak the street names turn by turn. Help.

Can you hear any noises from the GPS? If you do not check the volume icon on the main screen.

You may need to select a voice from setup menus or reload the voices through Garmin's website.

It is telling me when to turn, but not saying the street names. I will try to reload voices through the website and let you know if it works. Thanks for your help.

You will need to choose a voice that supports that feature. Normally the voice will say speak street names beside it or below it in the nuvi menu.
