Nuvi 1450 Route Planning?

I use a Garmin IQUE3600 Palm/GPS in my car for navigation, and it does a good jog. I am looking for a larger display and simpler operation for my wife's car. The only concern I have with the 1450 is if you can plan a route and save it before the trip? On my IQUE I can give the unit a destination, look at it and change it if I need to by adding vista's then I can save that route so when we are ready to go I just call up that saved route. Can I do this same important function with the NUVI1450?

The nuvi 1450 can do route planning. It handles up to ten routes. I find that the route planning in the older Ique 3600 to be much better.
