Can I pass enroute information (i.e. turns, street names, etc.)from this model of GPS via bluetooth to a bluetooth speaker. A few years ago you could do this via your fm radio, but that is not often found on the newer units.

Thanks

Greg

Greg,

This feature is not supported by Nuvis. The only unit(s) from Garmin that have the capability is the Zumo series. It is called an A2DP Bluetooth which allows more than just calls to be sent to a headset/speaker.

Thanks Jordan, the quick reply appreciated. I have a Nuivi 250. Its a great unit but in a high noise environment, its sometimes hard to hear. Do you think volume on the new Nuivis is an issue?

Greg,

Not a problem, I'm happy to help. It really depends in what you mean by a "high noise environment". Personally, I have never had a problem hearing a Nuvi. Some models will be different because of different speakers and different audio drivers. They aren't necessarily meant to be heard over other loud noises.

There is a way to edit the files on the unit to make the voice louder, but we do not recommend doing this as you can damage the files on the unit causing it to be sent for repair. If you would like to check it out, you can see more information here:

If you feel comfortable enough to do this, then you can give it a try.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Greg, it is appreciated! If there is anything else we can help you with just let us know. You can't go wrong with a new unit, a 37xx or a 2360.

Thanks again!

Jordan
