Waypoints and Favorite on microSD Data Card?

Does the Garmin 1300LM have a microSD Data Card slot and if so does it come with the data card? I have asked two people and received two different answers. We plan on having (Purchasing) multiple units and it would be nice to enter in coordinates on one, save to sd card, and transfer to multiple Garmin units.

Hello Brandon,

The unit has a memory card slot but does not come with a memory card. The card slot is for other mapping. The North American maps are preloaded in the internal memory. All Garmin nuvis can take Latitude and longitude coordinates.

Thank You, do you know when you enter in coordinates and save that location ex. Jones Farm, can that be saved to the card and be able to move that to another unit. So all the Garmins would have the Jones Farm without manually entering each and everyone.

Hello Brandon,

You can not save data to the card using the unit. You will need a more involved unit than the 1300 series. The Garmin Zumo series will do what you are talking about.

With your unit you can save the waypoint then transfer it to the PC. Then from the PC to another unit.
