Thinking about updating from a 2610 to a nuvi 755t. Opinions welcome if that’s a good move or not.
Then a couple of questions - will the touch screen on the 755 allow me to move the map screen? Move it to see details off to the side or ahead of the current position? And then - can I , even manually if necessary, add the lat/long of POI’s collected over 5+ years into the 755? I would hate to lose some of my favorite restaurants and various interesting addresses collected over time. Last - is there a bean bag dash mount available for this?

Hello Ed!
The touch screen on the nuvi will allow you to move the map and place manual waypoints, and set your destination. You can use Garmin map source that came with your steetpilot 2610 to save your points then transfer them to your new Garmin Nuvi 755. They will be saved in your favorites on the Nuvi. Lat/long coordinates can be entered in the "Where to?" Menu and then saved.
There is a bean bag mount for the Nuvi 755. Just check the accessories tab on this page. You can use one like you already have or get a new style that fits your dash better.

Have a great day!
